United Nations Troop Contributing Countries’ (UNTCC) Chiefs Conclave
will be hosted by the Indian Army in New Delhi from October 14 to 16.
¨ Top military officials from more than 30 UN
peacekeeping nations will attend the event.
¨ The conclave aims to strengthen global unity
and commitment to international peace and security.
¨ It will focus on improving peacekeeping
operations through better communication and coordination.
¨ There will also be an exchange of successful
strategies and field experiences.
¨ A key theme will be the use of indigenous
technology and self-reliant innovations.
¨ These efforts aim to make peacekeeping more
adaptable, cost-effective, and future-ready.
¨ Lt General Rakesh Kapoor described the
conclave as a vital forum for international military cooperation.
¨ It will help foster mutual understanding
among troop-contributing nations.
¨ Countries expected to participate include
Algeria, Armenia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, Burundi, Cambodia, Côte d’Ivoire,
Ethiopia, Fiji, France, Ghana, Indonesia, Italy, and others.
¨ India has long been one of the largest and
most consistent contributors to UN peacekeeping missions.

The Indian Army will share its operational experience and innovations at
the conclave.
