strengthening women’s health and empowering families, the Government of India
launched a new initiative.

On 17 September 2025,
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Healthy Women, Empowered
Families’ campaign. The date also marks the Prime Minister’s birthday, which is
celebrated as a day of service and welfare.
Key Features of the Campaign

women’s health, with a special focus on nutrition, maternal care, and
awareness.

camps will be organized across rural and urban areas under the campaign.
