12th meeting of the India-UAE Joint Defense Cooperation Committee (JDCC) concluded in Abu Dhabi.
The Indian delegation was led by Joint Secretary Amitabh Prasad, while the UAE delegation was headed by Brigadier General Staff Jamal Ebrahim Mohamed Almazrooqi.
They discussed various aspects of collaboration, including training cooperation, joint military exercises, defence industrial partnerships, and research and development initiatives.
Both sides also discussed the exchange of subject matter experts and experiences.
Regional security concerns, particularly maritime security issues were discussed during the meeting.
On the sidelines, the navies and armies of both countries held separate talks.
This meeting is expected to further reinforce the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations.
India-UAE Joint Defence Cooperation Committee (JDCC) was established in 2006 and serves as a platform for advancing India-UAE defence relations.
