Anahat Singh represented India by winning the gold medal in the Under-17 category of the Asian Junior Squash Individual Championship. The event took place in Dalian, China from 16 to 20 August.
In the final match held on August 20, 2023, 15-year-old Anahat defeated Hong Kong’s Anna Kwong by a score of 3-1 to win the gold medal.
In the quarter-finals, Anahata defeated Doyce Lee and in the semi-finals, she emerged victorious against Whitney Isabel Wilson.
Last year in Thailand, Anahat won his first gold medal in this championship.
Anahat Singh gained significant recognition in 2019 when she became the Under-11 champion at the British Junior Open squash.
