  • Earlier, Kazakhstan won its second bronze medal of the tournament by beating Iran 28-22 in the third place play-off match.
  • The 20th edition of the Asian Women’s Handball Championship was held in New Delhi, India from December 3 to December 10, 2024.
  • The tournament was held for the first time in India at the Indira Gandhi Arena, organized by the Asian Handball Federation and the World Handball League.
