- National Mission on Natural Farming has been designed to support farmers in reducing the cost of cultivation by decreasing reliance on externally purchased inputs.
- It will support the integration of local livestock with diversified crop systems, utilizing location-specific technologies, and promoting agro-ecological principles tailored to local conditions.
- It will foster healthy soil ecosystems, encourage biodiversity, and promote diverse cropping systems.
Natural Farming (NF) will also provide safe, nutritious food for consumers and will also ensure long-term soil health and environmental sustainability
