To boost domestic output and reduce imports of cooking oils, the government will launch an oilseeds mission with an outlay of `6,800 crore.
The government will also make amendments to pesticide management legislation.
More than 1,500 mandies will be integrated with the e-NAM platform.
The government has a vision of developing 1,500 new varieties of climate-resilient crops.
The government is also working to diversify crops, including the farming of flowers, fruits, and medicinal plants.
