Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) has signed 72 MoUs with private institutions and start-ups.
DEPwD has signed these MoUs to empower persons with disabilities socially, educationally and economically.
During the signing of the MoUs, Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr. Virendra Kumar and Minister of State in the Ministry, B.L. Verma were present.
The MoUs show the government’s commitment to persons with disabilities.
Dr. Virendra Kumar said that the persons with disabilities have immense potential, they only need opportunities.
