- He represented in 180 games across three formats. He scored 3463 runs with one Test hundred and 17 half-centuries
- He made his India debut when he was 19 in an ODI against England at Lord’s in September 2004.
- He played his last match in the 2024 edition of the IPL against Rajasthan Royals on May 22.
- Karthik also had 172 dismissals to his credit. He played for as many as six teams in the IPL.
