- India’s market capitalization to GDP ratio has reached to a 15-year high of 140.2 per cent from 95.8 per cent at the end of March 2023.
- As per the BSE data, 4357 companies available for trade had a combined market capitalization of around Rs 416 trillion.
- India’s GDP at the current price is Rs 296.6 trillion in FY24.
- The current ratio is just below the all-time high of 149.4 per cent at the end of December 2007,
- The market capitalisation of all listed companies traded on the Bombay Stock Exchange has increased by 61% since March 2023.
