- The Union Home Ministry has approved Puducherry’s proposal to implement 10% horizontal reservation for students pursuing undergraduate medical education from government higher secondary schools.
- This reservation policy, which will come into force with immediate effect, will benefit those students who have qualified the NEET exam and have completed their education from government schools starting from standard one.
