India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra qualified for the Diamond League final. The final of this league will be held next month in Eugene, America on 16 and 17 September.
Neeraj Chopra secured second place in the Zurich Diamond League Championships 2023 with a best throw of 85.71 metres.
Jakub Wadlech of Czech Republic secured first place with 85.86 metres. Meanwhile, Germany’s Julian Weber stood third with a throw of 85.04 metres.
Neeraj Chopra’s best throw is 89.94 meters, which is a national record.
