Women’s Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2023 is going to be organized for the first time in the country. Hockey India President Dilip Tirkey and Director Sports Sarojini Lakra signed the MoU.
Ranchi has got its hosting. This is the first time that an international hockey tournament will be played in Ranchi.
All the matches of the tournament to be held from October 27 to November 5 will be played at Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astro Turf Hockey Stadium in Ranchi.
The Women’s Asian Hockey Champions Tournament is being organized since 1985, while India is hosting it for the first time. This international tournament will be played in Ranchi.
