The rocket Agnibaan Suborbital Technological Demonstrator of Chennai-based private space company AgniKul Cosmos is ready for launch at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
Launching will be from Satish Dhawan Space Center. If this rocket successfully reaches the Earth’s Lower Earth Orbit, Agnikul will become the country’s second private rocket sending company.
Earlier, Skyroot Aerospace had sent its rocket. Agnibaan rocket is a single stage rocket. The name of its engine is Agnilet engine. This engine is completely 3D printed.
It is a semi-cryogenic engine producing 6 kilonewton thrust. This rocket will not be launched from the conventional guide rail. This will do vertical lift off. Will go on a predetermined route.
