President Smt. Draupadi Murmu inaugurated International Literature Festival-‘Unmesha’ and Folk and Tribal Art Festival-‘Utkarsh’ in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.
Speaking on the occasion, the President said that literature connects the society and also connects people to each other.
The President said that literature has shown the mirror to humanity, saved it and also taken it forward. Literature and art have preserved the sensitivity and compassion, that is, the humanity of man. The writer and the artist deserve praise for participating in this most sacred mission of protecting humanity.
