- It is led by Airbus Defence and Space (Germany), includes Leonardo (Italy), Dassault Aviation (France), and Airbus (Spain) as major subcontractors.
- It is managed by the Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation (OCCAR).
- Japan became the first official OCCAR observer state in the MALE RPAS (Eurodrone) programme in November 2023.
- India made the formal request to join the programme in August 2024.
