Faiz Ahmed Kidwai has been appointed the new director general of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
He is currently working as an additional secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
His appointment has been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

Kamal Kishore Soan has been appointed as additional secretary and mission director of Jal Jeevan Misson in the Department of drinking water and Sanitation.
