US withdraws its membership from the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
President Donald Trump signed an executive order to exit the US from the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
The US will not send any funding to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees.
As per the executive order, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has consistently shown itself to be anti-Semitic and anti-Israel.
The US government blamed UNRWA facilities have been used by Hamas and other terrorist groups to store weapons and build tunnels.
The US will also review its participation in the UN’s Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).
The Executive order said that some of the UN’s agencies and bodies have drifted from their mission.

It is a body of the United Nations which aims to promote and protect human rights worldwide.
Its members are elected for a three-year term. It was founded on 15 March 2006.
