Government integrated 12 schemes on the eShram portal.
The Central Government’s ‘eShram-One Stop Solution’ portal aims to integrate information on welfare schemes for unorganised workers.
It has integrated 12 schemes of different Central Ministries and Departments into the eShram portal.
This portal was launched with the objective of creating a ‘National Database of Unorganised Workers’ and providing workers with a Universal Account Number (UAN).
More than 30 crore unorganised workers have enrolled on the eShram portal.
The Labour Ministry is offering services in some regional languages and is also conducting outreach programs.
