Time Magazine released its ‘TIME 100 Most Influential People AI 2024’ list, which includes many Indians. Notable names in the list include Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. Prominent Indian personalities include Ashwini Vaishnav, Nandan Nilekani and actor Anil Kapoor.
The list honors individuals who have made a significant impact in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Ashwini Vaishnav, who is playing a key role in moving India towards semiconductor manufacturing. He is known for his vision of making India one of the top five countries for semiconductor production in the next five years.
Ashwini Vaishnav is an Indian politician and former Indian Administrative Service officer. His rank in UPSC was 27, he is a student of IIT Kanpur, from where he has done M.Tech, who is currently serving as the 39th Railway Minister, 55th Communications Minister and 2nd Minister of Electronics and Information Technology in the Government of India since 8 July 2021.
