Anmol Kharb won her first individual international badminton title.
India’s emerging player Anmol Kharb secured her maiden international title at the senior level by winning the Belgian International 2024 badminton women’s singles title.
She defeated Denmark’s Amalie Schulz by 24-22, 12-21, 21-10 in a hard-fought final.
In the semi-finals, Anmol defeated Kaloyana Nalbantova of Bulgaria by 21-13, 24-26, 21-19.
In the men’s singles, Darshan Pujari reached the quarter-finals.
Earlier, Anmol became the women’s singles national badminton champion at the age of 16.
