  • India and Saint Kitts and Nevis have signed an agreement with India STACK, which will enable cooperation in digitalisation in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
  • This agreement was signed during the visit of the foreign minister of the Federation of Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas, to India.
  • Dr Denzil Douglas, who was on an official visit to India from 4-9 August 2024, is the first foreign minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis to visit India.
  • India Stack is a set of digital infrastructure components that enable various entities, including governments, businesses, and individuals, to interact and conduct transactions electronically.

Three Agreement signed between India and Saint Kitts and Nevis

  1. Both countries agreed on India STACK, which will enable cooperation in the field of digitalisation
  2. Both countries agreed to cooperate in the field of Sports, especially sports medicine and the training of athletes.
  3. An MoU was also signed for regular consultations between the Foreign Ministries of both countries.

Saint Kitts and Nevis

  • Saint Kitts and Nevis is an island country in the eastern Caribbean Sea. It consists of two islands in the Lesser Antilles.
