The Indian Army has begun its joint military exercise Maitree 2024 with the Royal Thai Army.
The 13th edition of the India-Thailand Joint Military Exercise Maitree is being conducted from 1 to 15 July 2024 at Fort Wachiraprakan, Tak Province, Thailand.
The last Maitree exercise took place from 16 September to 29 September 2019 at the Foreign Training Node, Umroi, Meghalaya.
The bilateral Maitree exercise, initiated in the year 2006, is an important aspect of defence cooperation between the Indian Army and the Royal Thai Army.
