- This announcement was made during the 10th-anniversary celebration of the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve.
- Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh government approved the 4th Tiger Reserve in the Ranipur Wildlife Sanctuary.
- Amangarh Tiger Reserve, Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, and Pilibhit Tiger Reserve are the other tiger reserve in Uttar Pradesh.
- As of March 2024, 55 protected areas have been designated as tiger reserves.
- Suhelva Sanctuary is spread over an area of 452 square kilometres. It received the status of a wildlife sanctuary in 1998.
