A visa-free policy for Indian nationals has been approved by the Iranian government.
This visa-free policy will be only valid for tourism purposes.
This policy allows Indian citizens holding ordinary passports to enter Iran without a visa.
However, this entry can be only once every six months for a maximum stay of 15 days.
Indian nationals must get the requisite visas from Iran’s corresponding representatives in India if they intend to remain longer, make more than one entry within a six-months, or need other sorts of visas.
