The International Day aims to celebrate the benefits of cotton, ranging from its properties as a natural fiber to the benefits people receive from its production, transformation, trade and consumption.
Since ancient times, cotton has been used in many other ways including cotton clothes.
Cotton is produced on a large scale not only in India but all over the world, that is why cotton production provides employment to many needy people every year.
