Nobel Prize in Literature announced Norwegian writer John Fosse has been awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature 2023 for his plays and prose.
This year’s literary prize winner John Fosse writes novels in a style known as ‘Fosse Minimalism’. This can be seen in his second novel ‘Stanged Guitar’ (1985).
The Nobel Prize for Literature for the year 2022 was given to French writer Anne Arnoux. Annie was born on 1 September 1940. She is a French writer and literature professor. His literary work is mostly autobiographical, based on sociology.
John Fosse, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, is also a poet.
Fosse, 64, used the least common language in Norway’s two official versions.
