- India-UK 2 plus 2 Foreign and Defence Dialogue was organised in New Delhi on 16 October 2023.
- This was the inaugural India-UK 2+2 Foreign and Defence Dialogue.
- The possibilities to boost collaboration in certain areas were discussed during the dialogue.
- These areas include trade and investment, defence, critical and emerging technologies, civil aviation, health, energy, and culture.
- The 2 plus 2 dialogue is a mechanism to discuss as well as review all aspects of the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
- Both countries expressed happiness about the progress made in diverse areas of the India-UK Roadmap 2030.
