Africa’s first climate summit began in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.
The three-day African Climate Summit was held in Nairobi on 4–6 September.

Kenya’s capital and largest city is Nairobi while its oldest and second largest city which was also Kenya’s first capital city until 1907 is the coastal city of Mombasa which includes the island of Mombasa in the Indian Ocean.
